Power
Although this trimmer is cordless it doesn’t compromise on its power. Built to be interchangeable between the powerful AP 200 and 300 batteries, the Stihl FSA 86 R is a force to be reckoned with.
The recommended AP 200 battery keeps your trimmer going for up to 35 minutes with only 55 minutes battery charging time. The AP 300 battery can also be used for up to 42 minutes of trimming. Both have an LED display to indicate how much charge is left in the battery.
Mobility
The Stihl FSA 86 R has been created to be powerful but really easy to use. Cordless and designed for perfect balance with the recommended AP 200 battery, this lightweight trimmer makes it easy for you to keep your lawn neat and tidy.
The ergonomic soft grip loop handle makes the trimmer practical and easy to use for everyone, whether you are left or right handed.
Utility
Quick and easy to use for different trimming needs in wet or dry weather. With a cutting diameter of 35cm and variable speed options, the FSA 86 R is great for quickly trimming a large area or trimming a smaller more intricate area.
The trimmer comes with an AutoCut C 6-2 mowing head but is also compatible with the PolyCut 6-2 and DuroCut 5-2 mowing heads. Changing the mowing head is easy to do without the need for any tools meaning you can easily change heads based on the area you’re trimming.
Safety & Security
Protect your ears, walls, and plants with the FSA 86 R. It has a built-in spacer bracket to keep the trimmer blades away from walls, plants, and objects in your outdoor space. It’s also quiet enough that you won’t need ear defenders.
Safety is also prioritised with this trimmer thanks to the locking level and button which prevents the trimmer from accidentally starting, even when the battery is attached.
